Many have asked us how it came to be. The matriarch of the store (Rita)
was searching for an unusual name for the new gift shop she was about to
open with the help of her husband and daughters. Rita saw this word
Bhadon in the dictionary and asked her youngest daughter, June, her
thoughts. The youngest daughter (being the brattiest of all of course)
encouraged her to select the mysterious sounding name. What is the
connection? Bhadon means the month of June, a happy harvest celebratory
month. It is as simple as that. (Pronounced bah-don with the accent on
the first syllable).
